Accessibility at Xylran
Xylran wants its English-language editorial work to be readable, navigable and understandable across common devices. We use semantic headings, descriptive links, visible focus styles, responsive layouts and text alternatives for editorial images. Accessibility is an ongoing practice rather than a claim that every experience is perfect.
1. Scope
This statement covers Xylran pages, navigation, forms and cookie controls. It does not control external sites linked from articles. Some older content may need review as the archive grows. We prioritise barriers that prevent access to essential information.
2. Structure
Pages use landmarks such as header, navigation, main and footer. Headings are organised to help readers scan and use assistive technology. Links describe their destination rather than relying only on visual position. We aim to keep navigation consistent across pages.
3. Text and contrast
Body text uses a readable size and generous line height. Color is not the only way we communicate a distinction. Text and controls are designed with strong contrast against their backgrounds. Browser zoom and responsive layout should remain useful on smaller screens.
4. Images
Content images include descriptive alternative text when they convey information. Decorative treatment is kept separate from essential meaning. Alt text is written in English to match the site language. If an image is unclear or misleading, please tell us its page and location.
5. Keyboard use
Navigation, details controls, links, form fields and buttons should be reachable with a keyboard. Focus indicators remain visible. The mobile menu exposes its expanded state to assistive technology. We will investigate any control that cannot be reached or understood without a pointer.
6. Forms
Contact fields have visible labels and required fields are identified by the browser. The successful submission message appears on the contact page after the form request. We avoid asking for sensitive health details. If a form is difficult to complete, contact us by phone or post.
7. Motion and media
The site uses no essential auto-playing video or audio. Transitions are limited so reading remains calm. Browser settings that reduce motion should be respected where animation is introduced. External media follows the accessibility controls of its provider.
8. Language
The site is published in English and uses plain editorial language where possible. Some technical terms are explained in context. Readers who need a different format may request a reasonable alternative. We cannot promise translation, but we will consider practical requests.
9. Feedback
Send accessibility feedback to Jalan Merdeka 54, Kelurahan Gondangdia, Menteng, Central Jakarta 10350, Indonesia, or call +62 813 6745 2891. Include the page, device, browser and barrier if you can. We will acknowledge a clear request and assess it with the relevant page owner.
10. Review history
This statement was reviewed on 12 October 2026. We plan to review accessibility during substantial design or navigation changes. Improvements may be made without waiting for a scheduled date. The current page records our present commitments and known approach.
Our implementation is informed by WCAG 2.2 principles, while recognising that conformance can vary by browser, assistive technology and third-party content. We test common keyboard paths, responsive breakpoints, heading order, link clarity and form labels during routine updates. A technical limitation should not prevent us from offering the same information in another practical format. We welcome reports that help us identify a barrier.
For a useful report, include the page address, the task you were attempting, the device or browser used and the assistive technology involved if relevant. Do not include passwords or private health information. Reports can be sent to Jalan Merdeka 54, Kelurahan Gondangdia, Menteng, Central Jakarta 10350, Indonesia, or +62 813 6745 2891. We aim to acknowledge an accessibility report within 7 days and provide an update within 30 days.
When a barrier is confirmed, we assess its impact, identify an accessible workaround and schedule a code or content correction. A third-party document or linked service may have its own limitations outside our control, but we will consider providing the key information in the Xylran page or another readable format. We do not treat an automated scan as a substitute for user feedback.
This statement was reviewed on 12 October 2026. The site may change as browsers, assistive technologies and accessibility guidance develop. Revision history is maintained with the current review date, and material changes will be reflected in the statement rather than hidden in a technical note.
Our work is informed by WCAG 2.2 principles, while results can vary by browser, device and assistive technology. We review keyboard paths, heading order, link names, labels, focus visibility and responsive behaviour; automated checks do not replace user feedback. Reports should include the page, task, browser and assistive technology without passwords or private health details.
