Advertising and partnerships
Xylran may consider carefully selected advertising or partnerships that are relevant to an adult readership interested in well-being. Commercial activity must not compromise editorial independence, reader safety or clear disclosure. We do not use this page to promise a marketing outcome. It explains the boundaries a prospective partner should understand.
1. Separation
Advertising is separate from editorial commissioning, editing and correction decisions. A partner cannot require favorable coverage or control a journalist's conclusion. Paid material is labelled in a way that a reader can understand without examining source code. Editorial links are not sold as commercial endorsements.
2. Prohibited claims
We do not accept claims that a product guarantees an outcome, cures a condition, replaces professional care or works for everyone. We avoid fear, shame, false scarcity and misleading before-and-after presentation. Health statements must be supportable and appropriate to the jurisdiction. We may reject a campaign even when the product category appears relevant.
3. Restricted categories
We may decline unverified supplements, unsafe devices, unlicensed clinical services, gambling, tobacco, weapons and products aimed at children. A category not listed here is not automatically accepted. Product safety, identity and landing-page quality are considered together. Compliance with a platform rule does not guarantee acceptance by Xylran.
4. Disclosure
A paid relationship, affiliate link or sponsored feature will be identified near the relevant material. Disclosure will use plain language rather than hidden labels or ambiguous abbreviations. Readers should be able to distinguish a commercial message from an independent article. We keep records of active arrangements and their review dates.
5. Landing pages
Partners must provide a destination with clear ownership, contact information, pricing where relevant and truthful terms. The destination must not request unnecessary sensitive information. It should work on common mobile browsers and provide its own privacy notice. We can pause a placement if the destination changes materially.
6. Audience respect
Creative should use calm, accurate language suited to adults. It must not exploit health anxiety, age, appearance or financial vulnerability. Images should be realistic and not imply that a person has a diagnosis. We do not permit pressure tactics such as countdowns or “act now” prompts.
7. Measurement
Any campaign measurement should be proportionate and disclosed where required. We do not knowingly pass article text or contact messages to advertisers. Partners receive aggregate reporting where possible. Retention and processor details are addressed in the privacy and cookie policies.
8. Complaints
Readers can report an unclear label, questionable claim or broken destination through the contact page. Include the page URL and a description of the concern. The editorial desk may investigate, request evidence, amend a label or remove the placement. A commercial relationship does not prevent an honest review of a complaint.
9. Decisions
Acceptance is discretionary and does not constitute verification of every product statement. A campaign can be declined, paused or ended when new information creates a safety, accuracy or reputation concern. We may ask for substantiation before publication. Partners must notify us of material changes to their offer.
10. Review date
This policy was reviewed on 12 October 2026. We review it at least annually and when advertising rules or our business model changes. Questions may be sent to Jalan Merdeka 54, Kelurahan Gondangdia, Menteng, Central Jakarta 10350, Indonesia, or +62 813 6745 2891.
Before accepting a proposal, we may request the advertiser's legal identity, product description, landing-page address, target geography, evidence for material claims and a description of data collection. Review is not an endorsement and may be repeated when creative, destination or targeting changes. A campaign can be declined when the overall presentation is likely to confuse readers, even if an individual sentence appears acceptable.
Commercial tracking must respect the consent choices described in the cookie policy. Advertisers must not receive contact-form contents, inferred health information or private editorial correspondence. Any audience measurement should be limited to the agreed purpose and handled by the relevant provider under its own published terms. International processing must be disclosed where it is material to the arrangement.

This policy was reviewed on 12 October 2026. It may be updated when platform requirements, Indonesian law, privacy practices or the publication's commercial formats change. The current review date will remain visible so readers and partners can identify the applicable version.
